I'm goin to join Silverlake on May. My interviewer is Mr Lee (Project Director) - Data Warehouse.
The team leader good or not?
During the interview, he said i hv to travel to oversea very often. Which country actually? I know Silverlake has 11 branches at oversea, so normally we travel to other branch to support? or other that these 11 countries?
Now i realised that no bonus at Silverlake, if the increament is good (15%) then i think its equal to almost 2months bonus (15% increament x 12months).
I believe that Silverlake is the good place to learn the banking stuff. Honestly... i don hv experiences in this fields, i'm from engineering line (software). I also get shocked when they offer me the position.
Any tips for me???
TQ
Mr lee... er... wear spec got bit white grey hair one ar? hehe.. not very sure... but i have work with data warehouse ppl... they are all friendly la... mayb i'm lucky to have meet those friendly one.. haha not sure.
Yea... definately a good place to learn banking stuff. if ur in datawarehouse line, most probably u will learn quite a few of module regarding their databases and mainly u guys do report for BNM.

i'm working on that to with datawarehouse ppl.
Tips? Datawarehouse surely need SQL lor.. learn up SSIS SSRS, which is the new term for DTS for SQL 2005

reporting services as well. Some of the site uses sql 2000 some uses sql 2005. But if u know the concept not a problem for you to move around

why u got shock when they offer u the position?
