Swt.... Didn't realized that there is so many silverlakers around.
Well I am also one of them. I guess is just like the rest of you said. Silverlake = for freshie to get their basic knowledge. Really depends on luck which team you joined and which senior you get. My dai lou consider very good lu Sphenix >> NISP woooooo which one is you jek? hahaha areankim >> support really that boring???? But seriously if you posted overseas got good got bad.... I one month come back only 5 days really not enough. Sob sob.... I want my life back!!!! Not much entertainment when u are overseas. Like... watching movies, shopping, yam cha << now can only yam once a month. Increment..... bonus...... hmm...... |

Ex-Silverlaker here.
Working for Silverlake? Different people will find different Pro's and Con's. Well I can say, for those who find more cons than pro, will quit very fast (1 or 2 years I guess, some in days maybe? Haha, I seen ppl quit in days  ). For the other way round (more pro than con), they will stay in Silverlake for many, many years (look at some top seniors in the company, they're like, forever in that company)--------------------- [Part 2] IMHO + Per Diem for Overseas are adequate (it is not alot), RM90 per day for normal region, some special region (so far 2 only la ) RM150 per day.+ Good base for training up (tools dependant on team you're attached to), and learning Banking knowledge and related informations. - Lost of Msia Lifestlye when posted overseas. - Posted in Msia for fresh grad can die, as your claims are more or less pretty standart when posted in Client Side, and if in HQ more worse >_<". sad news.... no backdate... there is an email circulating to all the projec thead or product head...
one of the content is 5) incrment is effective from 1st of April... not 1st on january.... no backdate?.... u decode urself.... gone my xbox360 dream...... what we can do? |

I join Silverlake in year 2000. After 2 month I resigned. They assign me to one of the bank to work , cannot tahan , work late .. somemore doesnt feel like any security working there .... |
