Hi all,

I would like to share some information on Aon Best Employer awards. This is so you will be able to gauge whether to jump company or not. I feel this award is underrated in terms of appreciation by the working public. Most times, we focus so much on wanting to go into MNC companies, but for me, that is not sufficient proof that it is a good company. This award allows you to gauge on companies management. How this award is awarded is through a survey from all the staff of a particular company. The survey is called People Pulse Survey. This is your chance to rate your Management Leadership Skills.

When the staff is filling up the survey, it is under anonymous. Hence, staff is not on any duress pressure to give a good rating else, ratings would be manipulated. Companies have a choice to take part in this award, if selected by Aon. Good companies will choose to take part for TRANSPARENCY. A good company management will also take this seriously and this rating or award affects Management's KPI.

Survey includes:

1. Adequate Training for Staff
2. Clear and Promising Direction of the company
3. Quality and Customer Focus
4. Respect and Recognition
5. Performance Management
6. Pay and benefits
7. Confidence in Leader

Done this survey several times already [no wonder the questions look familiar].

Anyways, thanks for sharing the list. Kinda ironic that the avoid chinaman comment is above, but in the list, I see quite a few locally successful companies such as the EcoWorld/Sunway corporations. I guess they really are very good places and employee's welfare and remuneration are taken care of.

IS the list really worth discussing when there are so many other similar lists out there.

What are the differences?

It's different. Aon Awards survey is done by the employees themselves that works for the company. Means, they have first hand experience what is going on in the company.

As for the above picture and link you provided, it is a survey based on Malaysian based-employee. Means, survey is not by the employees that works in the company. The rating is based on the reputation and branding of the company. It's purely on the surface and what is perceived by the public on the company

I have personally worked in Samsung- it's in the above image. One of the messiest organisation i've ever been in and i've heard bad news about Huawei
