would like to ask how to sell some quantity of it.

current : 5.500

would like to cash out RM1.500 earning, and remain bought time : 4.000 in the account.

Anyone can guide on the sell unit?

As image attach :

lets said i wan sell 200 qty, which price should i choose? the price mean 4.000(bought) ? or 1.500 (earning)? or 5.300-5.5000?

thank you.... icon_question.gif

let's say you bought for 1000 units for rm4, that's 4000. now the value is 5500. so you need to sell roughly 270 units to get rm1500. sell at current market price. if large quantity and want to sell fast queue 2/3 sen below current price.

share price will be 5.50 still, but your total investment will be intact. Let's say your total investment is rm40,000, current value is rm55000. Sell shares equivalent to rm15, 000 and you have remaining rm40,000 worth of stocks. The number of units will definitely reduce as you have sold the stocks to take profit

If I may ask, how did you get started on your share purchase? Wasn't there someone who guided you?

If you bought 1,000 units at RM4 for a total value of RM4,000, and the value of the share per unit is now at RM10, your total value is now at RM10,000. How many units did you purchase? Please note . and , is very different. If you bought 100 units, your value is RM1,000 instead of RM10,000.

Please clarify how many units did you buy, and at what price. Most helpful would be what stock is this so everyone here can give you the right information.
