Here, I share you an opinion by a female about this and mind you, this is not typical conservative muslim female. She is free hair, sometime wear sexy clothing and really extrovert (maybe some /k people with access to her facebook did read this too);
1. Saya belum berpeluang pergi ke Mekah atau Madinah.
2. Tapi saya biasa pergi ke surau perempuan.
3. Bila di surau, selalu perempuan2 akan buka tudung atau telekung sekejap when they are in-between prayers.
4. Bila nak ambil air sembahyang pun kena buka tudung.
Dia ada hak peribadi (personal right).
7. Ok. Then what about the women in the female section of the surau/mosque. Don't they have rights?
8. Gender issue and ambiguity ni ada cara dia dalam Islam. If Sajat is indeed hermaphrodite (as he claims - btw for purpose of this post I will refer to Sajat as male coz that's what's in his passport), dia boleh dapatkan declaration and ubah gender dia. Please remember, Sajat does not identify as transgender or binary.
9. I feel it is unfair and selfish for Sajat to place himself among females when he is biologically male at a place of worship coz he is making a mockery of other women's right to protect their aurat. He applied for the umrah as a male, his passport identifies him as a male and by the travel agency's admission, he did not tell them he is a hermaphrodite (maybe the term intersex is the more politically correct one but you get what I mean).
10. I am sure intersex people have got a lot of challenges in their lives. But the female-only section of the mosque or surau is NOT the place for you to make your stand.
Feel free to disagree.

Honestly if sajat really is intersex, he/she should just get it acknowledged by doctors, get some kind of medical certificate and make things clear for everyone involved with the umrah procedure.

QUOTE(red1982 @ Feb 3 2020, 11:51 PM) Bagi forumer yang beragama islam disini . apakah reaksi anda mengenai isu Sajat ke umrah .. ayam dont mind if sajat want to go umrah or even hajj. good for him. BUT please go as a HIM rather than a HER. that caused ppl angry. Mecca is a holy place and his behavior is intolerable. Everyone knew he is male, but he die die want to prove he is girl. that makes the claim he is a man even stronger. QUOTE(Satori 14118a @ Feb 4 2020, 12:03 AM) The bigger question is who are you to judge what is right or wrong? so by your logic u would let any wrongdoings happen in the world and crimes would be let free, let God do the work afterward? Or are u telling that a person should have credibility to judge? so if a judge himself say its wrong to be a girl when biologically a man, u will ask the same question?

I think what he did is disrespectful and stupid. But honestly, thats between him and God. If he did this in front of me however, I would probably have some words for him.

Just wondering out loud.
Malaysia doesn’t allow sex change, right? As in if you were born male, you go Thailand potong didi and come back wanna change gender to Female, NRD won’t layan you at all?
If that’s correct, do we have any exceptions at all for intersex / hermaphrodites?

I have no problem with her lifestyle as long she keeps it low profile, but she did the opposite and display her freak nature to the world, so it is her own doing and receive backlash for it, stupid move.
Also I believe we should practise Islam in moderation, because too much microscope in every issue is bad for us and everyone else.
Did you know the cash in your wallet has pass hand thousands of time? Did you know the utensils you use in some restaurant or food court are not clean properly? Imagine it being use by nons? See the extremism?
The only people that could make me angry are corrupt politicians, criminals and big bully.

Pipul potong lj and go kuda around, you terase angry pula. Ignore sahaja be wiser.
Suka hati Nur Sajat do whatever. Not your business apa peduli? Self marah sendiri sakit hati, for what? Better just take care of self and own mental health. Pipul clown around, it's their business.

QUOTE(jojokc @ Feb 4 2020, 12:16 AM) as muslim, i think let Tuhan deal with her la. i am not type of muslim who like to punish2 others unless got tuai own crops, or stealing, or rape, or DUI. as muslim i focus my ibadah and my relation with God and with my neighbors and friends must be good. leave judgement and punishment to Allah SWT. all those teachings to punish others for personal choice doesn't sound like what a noble person Muhammad would do. His actions has painted a bad name for Malaysian pilgrims. And at risk of getting Malaysians banned from ever going there. This is why there's religious authority to regulate this kind of issues, cuz it will impact others
