It used to be the case that Mercedes is easy to service as they use mostly Bosch parts.
If it is still the case, or many parts proprietary now?

True I saw a Bmw F30 going for under RM100k
1st owner purchase RM288k

My neighbor next door, office car f10 520d. Somehow the oil missing ridiculously high. Then scratching sound during driving. Warranty new engine by bmw malaysia.

Straight office purchase merz from w212 e300 to GLE diesel. Generally merz more reliable except than e300 battery price

True last time they got many Taxis driver using Mercedes to fetch people also

Different era, you can be assured a Mercedes you buy today would not be anywhere near as durable or reliable as a Mercedes from that era.

Theres a reason the cab in german is mostly merc if not all.

There are just as many Audis, Opels and VWs that are used as taxis in Germany just that often they don't get noticed by outsiders as most are wowed that a Mercedes is used as a taxi. Included in the list are many Fords and Peugeots as well.

Many of those Mercedes used as a taxi are purpose built cars that come with vinyl seats, stripped of all the creature comforts including an automatic gearbox and mostly given an entry level engine tuned for fuel economy and low emissions.

use this part cost to almost any car for comparison sake

You got a lemon? Why need to pay? W213 should be still within the warranty period.

MB power but BMW is more FUN to drive

BMW has lousy RV because dealers keep throwing prices

MB holds its value well

And when you send a BMW in for a routine service, there’s always something that needs to be replaced hahaha. Both got pros and cons. Anyway how’s the A45? Was looking at a recon model.

Yeah haha the DSG is the main reason. I've driven the VW CC, it's nicer to drive than the 528i F10.

So u chose the A45 over the R?
