In terms of navigation / finding places / routes etc, is google map or waze better ?

Waze for me.. Because of the interface easy to use.. And also I'm accustomed to its routing pattern

For me i used google maps due to i can do a lot of customization.

And google advantage is their offer walking, driving, biking, and public transportation directions .

Other than that in google maps i can differentiate between main road/highway and jalan taman easily due to google user interface color for maps. Because during navigation i used to count simpang jalan.

Waze so far has never failed me, from my old samsung S4 until now ...

I prefer Google maps. Somehow I find it easier to follow compared to Waze. Furthermore it gives alternative routes whereas Waze only recommends a single route.

HERE Wego or previously Nokia Map used to be superior to Google maps except for search function. Now, Google maps is pretty good.

I use both but gmap does not work in South Korea.

Waze usually gives 3 routes, with and without toll routes.

I prefer Waze. Tried Google Maps before, not to say its bad but I just prefer Waze.

But sometimes when Waze cannot connect to GPS for whatever reason then I'll use Google Maps

Waze have simpler interface.

Well, at least google maps can save, later be used offline

I have problem using waze on xiaomi phone so use Google. Also waze seems to use more battery IMO

Waze is when I need to check the traffic, and waze always help to avoid the traffic more effectively. but many times waze unable to connect to gps or server

Go to app battery saver, set Waze to no restrictions... Could work

Waze for navigation, if checking traffic conditions - usually Google Maps.

My bad! Haven't used Waze for so long that I forgot about this. Still prefer the way Google Map shows all routes on the screen at the same time so that I can choose the route to take visually. Just personal preference.

It is just which interface and feature you like. Google owns Waze. So, same map source.

Waze use in city or big towns when you want to also able to avoid toll. Google Maps & Here we go when in ulu places.

Google Map tends to more accurate in predicting traffic jam in normal times.
