QUOTE(19 Degree South @ Jan 31 2020, 09:53 PM) Thanks Then the tyre seating zone is intact and safe .No,pic! Only slight dent and not driving the car at the moment. Found out when doing balancing . Only problem balancing is out , which you had already sorted out . Keep using it , don't waste money out of 'fear' or 'fear of unknown' . |

QUOTE(andrekua2 @ Feb 1 2020, 12:25 PM) There are so many shop that would help. They would gather the bent rim and call the machining shop to come and collect them. Not sure what is the price now but used to cost RM50 back then. QUOTE(leehernandez @ Feb 2 2020, 10:39 AM) most tyre shop provide rim dent fixing.either their shop can fix or they send to the repair factory to do it.. Thanks! I am more concerned on the road worthiness of the rims after the repaired. |

QUOTE(19 Degree South @ Feb 2 2020, 10:43 AM) Very slight bent rims is quite common especially these days when people like to show off using big diameter and thin profile tires, so no need to worry too much about it. If already difficult to balance and keep vibrating then only replace. |

the workshop want to scam you into buying rims?
If can balance, just let it be, the dent is within tolerance. If not, then only you consider changing rims. In fact, no rims/tyres no matter how expensive is perfectly round. If still scared shit, look around online find 2nd hand factory rims. This post has been edited by wkc5657: Feb 3 2020, 04:16 PM |
