Not looking at the price difference, what are your thoughts on both?

Looking at 215/45/17.
I would say 70% city driving and in traffic jam.

My Altis stock tires are Micheline PS3.
And it has lasted me 68k milleage so far LOL.....planning to change soon, for some reason, Altis tires bald on the outer side eventhough i rotate and alignment balancing every 10k.
Some say its the characteristics of the Micheline tire, even PS4 has this "problem".
So far all align n balance done at Toyota SC.

When the car is out of warranty i am having it done outside so i can have a before/after print out so check.

Right now torn between the P4 and Advan DB.

Wanna hear the forum members thoughts.

As i know....the newer tire is the P4 correct?

Michelin is easy for me to get from a nearby shop.

Can't seem to find a reputable Yoko dealer near Old Klang Road or PJ area?

I'm using the Primacy 4 now and so far so good for me. Comfortable tyre and grip was alright for me.
PS 4 will have more grip but might be slightly noisier than Primacy 4.

Unsure on Yokohama tyre as I have not use before.

For Yokohama, you can check with Kean Lee Hin (FB keanleehin)
they are a major Yokohama dealer
no experience with the v552 but used the v551 and surprised at how they managed to combine stiff sidewall with low noise into one tyre

Been using Michelin for the longest time, from Preceda2 til now PS3.
So itchy to change to other brand to test out.
And also my current driving condition, wasted if buy PS4.

Weird.

honost review.

Advan DB - More quieter & comfort compare to Primacy 4. Yes, Yokohama already beat them in term of silent & comfort.

P4 - Good grip & better brake performance in dry & wet. The rest go down the drain already as they are more towards safety nowadays.

Another good option is Falken FK510, i think the performance & comfort stuck in the middle between the 2 tires above.

FK510 is higher performance category than both Advan dB and Primacy 4 coz FK510 is already UHP, same category as PS4.
