HDY any time.

At least got decent civilization there and got better food. You just need to research a bit more for cheong.

Dannok is overpriced and full of scams.

Mostly spoilt by angmo(old & young). Suck those angmo dry easier than cheapskate Malaysian.

Both lah, they are so near to each other.

Both place have its own allure.

But i prefer Dannok, if anything urgent easy to cabut balik rumah.

Accommodation : New Season Hotel, Sakol Hotel, Lee Garden Hotel, Mayflower Hotel
Shopping : Central Festival, Asean Night Bazaar
Pubs : Post Laser Disc, Westside Saloon, Homeless Bar & Grill, The Swan
Clubs : Kiss Channel Club
Sightseeing : Hatyai Municipal Park, Stainless Steel Temple and basically many other temples if you're into it. The Hatyai waterfall is supposedly quite nice but I've yet to go there.
Food : Plenty around central Hatyai, even halal selection.
Others : Massage and cheong I guess, buka WeChat can find alot or can get tutktuk drivers to take to around to the chicken farms
