Hi there,

A bit of background
I bought mine around November 2019
It came with a 16k discount as they were clearing the last of their stocks so I can only comment on 6 mnths of ownership.

The good

The interior feels very upmarket although it doesnt look like it
Very spacious and the view is amazing
The performance is good despite having some turbo lag
Android auto and apple carplay is very useful so you no longer have to use that donggle to hold your phone up
The speech assist when you use android auto is very useful and quite accurate. You can just say play this song and it will play it from spotify.

The bad
The car is a bit thristy if you constantly drive it at low speeds(<30kmh is) and at high speeds with sports mode(>180kmh)
The maintnence after 75km is much more expensive than competitors
The ride although comfortable, it leans more towards the stiffer side. I think you will find the CRVs ride more supple in comparison to this. Needs some getting use too

I test drove the cx5 2.0 gls and crv tc, the price was around 160k ish for red colour(mazda) etc
But i went with the tiguan instead because inplace of the normal price of 167k i got it at 151k brand new. And it fits my style a bit more.

To me if the car was not discounted, i would not have bought it because, i would rather wait and save up for a 3 series 240k. The difference is night and day.
Do note during MCO business is tough, ive seen cycle and carriage advertising 0% inhouse financing which is fantastic. Can consider exploring that also or wait for all these car retailers to put up a good deal.

Good sharing of experience.

Because of the Covid-19 crisis, I am sticking to my 8 year old Accord. I think most potential car buyers also deferring their purchase.
