KUALA LUMPUR: Persatuan Hospital Swasta Malaysia (APHM) bersedia bekerjasama dengan Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) dalam memerangi COVID-19.

Menerusi satu kenyataan pada Khamis, APHM berkata anggota hospitalnya secara kolektif menyediakan 900 katil dari 70 hospital swasta bagi menerima pesakit daripada hospital awam.

“Maklumat terperinci telah dimuktamadkan.

“Anggota hospital di bawah APHM juga menyediakan 65 ventilator untuk diberikan kepada KKM,” katanya dalam satu kenyataan pada Jumaat.



Terdahulu, Ketua Pengarah Kesihatan, Datuk Dr Noor Hisham berkata KKM terbuka untuk menerima kerjasama hospital swasta termasuk membantu merawat pesakit COVID-19 di masa hadapan sekiranya kemudahan KKM tidak mencukupi.
Setakat 12 tengah hari Khamis (26 Mac), terdapat 235 kes positif baharu dan ia menjadikan jumlah kes positif COVID-19 di negara ini sebanyak 2,031 kes.

Sebanyak empat lagi kes kematian akibat COVID-19 juga dicatatkan, menjadikan jumlah kumulatif kes kematian di Malaysia sebanyak 23 kes.
