Hi,

I'm a little blur on what to do now blink.gif confused.gif

I'm professional expatriate from Indonesia, and got married since last year and moved over to Malaysia.
I don't have much connections around here. So I'm seeking info in this forums.

What are things that we should do, once my wife tested positive pregnant?
The instructions mention, we need to confirm with doctor on the pregnancy result.

My nearest Hospital is Columbia Asia PJ

Please advices! rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif

I can't event concentrate on work now, and start calculating expenses and days and months. rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

Hi there,

My wife's Indonesian and we just had our baby on November at Sunway Hospital. It's a private hospital and thus the cost of delivery & checkups is not on the cheap side.

I think first things first, has your wife done the pregnancy test? If no, go get tested at a hospital first.

Secondly, is your wife Malaysian or Indonesian?

Congrats then! I still think it's worthwhile to get tested at hospital also to double confirm.

You'll need to look for a gynaecologist / gynae first. Your wife will go for regular checkups with the gynae and eventually he/she will be the one delivering the baby (If you choose to deliver in Malaysia). Do some research here and other forums for hospital & gynae recommendations. Since both of you are Indonesian, most likely you'll need to look for a private hospital (Not sure what the government hospital procedures are for foreigner). Once you've found one, make an appointment for your first check up. They will be able to guide and advise you the process.

If you have further questions, feel free to to ask.
