Anyone ever using Webull app?
How’s is it compared to eToro?

I have both so I can input a little bit of info. You only need to use the app to signup for Webull but can use the website or trading app to trade stocks once you get approved and deposit money. You can use Webull but it'd be stupid to do so because of the exorbitant fees and the fact that they don't offer fractional shares so you'll always have leftover cash sitting there or not enough cash to buy certain stocks so you have to topup and get slapped with the high deposit fees. You can use TDA or IKBR instead for cheaper transfer fees. Just check out the respective threads for more information. Alternatively eToro can also buy real US shares but it's quite lacking compared to even 2nd tier brokers like Webull.

When you deposit to webull from Malaysian bank, what was the fees associated with it?
Kind of weird that while it supposed to charge $12.5 per transaction, my $250 deposit became $225, means $12.5 missing.

Did you factor in our side's fees as well? Maybank charges RM10 for online wire transfers which is the lowest afaik but most other banks charge at least RM30 or higher if you do it via their branch. If it's not that then it could be clearing through two US banks for whatever reason.

Maybank charges actually not included in the transfer amount and charged separately. A $250 deposit into webull is actually $250 + RM10. Webull charged $12.5 on receive so I should get $225 in my account?

Problem with etoro is that they lack quite a few shares.

And there was one day where it did not work at all.

meaning transfer fee can be USD25 isn't??
similar to Saxo Bank transfer..
quite expensive..better use local broker such as Maybank Investment..they charge USD25 but i'm waiting for FSMONE or Rakuten to offer global trading..
FSMONE USD8.80 for their Singaporean account..I believe charge will be same..Rakuten still no ideas..

but if one-off fund trader, maybe it is a good option as long as the money is there..

I'll check with webull's rep and see if there's anything that we are missing.

I've also got some viewers telling me they got charged USD 25.0 instead of USD 12.5.

Funny enough, I myself (deposited 1 week+ ago) got charged nothing (only paid maybank2U FTT fee RM 10).

My wild guess would be their inbound fee waiver for deposits for the period before 31st March (in line with their 1 free stock promotion to waiver international wire fees for Malaysians).

Let's see what they reply!

for sure it is weird u not being charge..

I check review from their facebook page..so far not a good review..
better for me to wait for FSMONE because for me they much more reliable..

Actually no charge if you deposit in SGD. Conversion only cost usd2.00/conversion regardless of amount.

Don't just look at conversion. Look via total fees.

Nah, still got charged $25. Shouldn't be bank fees as Maybank charged RM10 separately when initiating the transfer.
Rep says "please check with your bank" lol.

Hi, for those charged 25 USD by Webull (instead of 12.5 USD), you can either:
1. File a ticket on Webull app with proof of the fund transfer etc., or
2. Reach out to me on my Instagram (link in siggie) and I will assist you in reaching out to the customer service directly.
