Thinking of forgo more than RM100k annual income in Malaysia and go new zealand do 6 months working holiday.
Later 5am application start. IF apply successful regret don't want go how??
Will NZ perma ban me from stepping into their country

Worth it or not??? Looks like a stupid move to my parents and cousin. Now I also think a bit stupid.
U bodoh ke. Go NZ also cannot earn as much as in Malaysia. Better u take money go there travel.

My cousin last time before go say want extend till 9 months.
But after go back after 4 months say cannot tahan de work there.

Yes stupid, not only risk and waste of time only.
Nothing special about NZ nor the likelihood you will suddenly have opportunity within 6 months or even you could last 6 months.

You will have to fulfill their question, "what are you doing in NZ for 6 months?" on visa.
It will be more stringent than what I am asking you now, so what talk you or what will you talk?
You student? No?
Ask further waste time only, you say you have more than 100k or so savings also no use.

Main question, did you manage to get it TS?

I'd say go for it. If you do manage to get it. Don't worry so much about what people think (many Malaysians are quite narrow minded anyways, the truth hurts). Just do what you feel like doing. You don't want any regrets later on. Money can always be earned later on.. Unless your current job is very 'rare'..

I'm in a similar situation as you, stable job. Income not bad. Have my own place to stay(self funded since day 1,not fama sponsored). Some savings, etc. And yea, I'm not too bothered about what others say. Plus you still have time to think about whether to truly go. After careful consideration and planning.. That's just my 2 cents opinion..

Edit: P. S. I managed to get it, this was my second attempt (also my last possible chance since I'm already 30). Thank God.

Did you manage to go? Recently I’ve been thinking to go. Although I don’t earn as much as ts but I feel like I would want to experience this. It’s a once in a lifetime experience. Hahah only problem is I don’t have friends that wanna go. So hit me up if anybody interested maybe we could be travel friends

Depends on your age, you may be loosing a few years of career progression as opportunity cost. Like for example you already have 5 years work experience and in that 2 years you could've progressed into a manager but you went to pick fruits instead.

Also many employers will see that as a gap in your resume and it will be challenging to go back to your previous career after youve done picking fruits.

Isn't application is closed until 2023? Either way if you are still young and eligible, just go for it.
It is a good once in a lifetime experience, but bare in mind you'll be working in a tough condition eg. hot, sunny, and dry weather for fruit picking, waking up in odd hours, boss can be an asshole etc etc

My cousin and her friend done it couple years ago, they had a good time and got extended to 9 months visa at the end.

What do you want to gain? Experience? Why not you take leave and go there for 3 weeks. Then decide.
