Btw,

Hi all bros, i need help and advise on this model i just bought 4TC60BK1X but i really is noob on android tv. So far only see youtube and digital tv.

I read thru many posts on ATV here and follow the steps copy file from pc with x-plorer and plug into usb but then how to copy to the tv. I open kodi but inside all is empty files, how to add files/app for various channel.

I am very sorry i really is dunno much about ATV. Your help is greatly appreciated. If there is any already mentioned on other threads, please guide me there so i can read again.

Btw, how to use voice assistant. I saw the voice assistant icon but everytime I clicked on it, tried voice command, no response and it failed. Did I perform something wrong? In youtube voice command always is not recognized.

I bought from SenQ at RM3299 join their member additional 1yr warranty total 3 yrs. All your time to answer me is very much thanks from me.

Forgot to mention, mine just was replaced with new unit last month due to one long line of semi dead pixels in the middle of the screen, from top to bottom.

They replaced it with new unit since mine was having screen issue in less than a month.

This BK1X model appears to be a lower end model compared to AL1X. Got the catalogue last nite and found that the "wide color" is found on even lower ended models while "real color" is on AL1X and the even more extravagantly named "real color pro" on the 8K model. Looking at the sequence of models in the catalogue, it starts with the 8K tv, followed by AL1X and then BK1X and the lower end models.

On the other hand, the BK1X has Bluetooth 5 vs 4 on the AL1X and the android version is 9 vs 8 on the AL1X. Sharp really likes to confuse the market.

Dear Owners of 4TCBK1X, can you help confirm or check the wired ethernet connection whether it is Fast Ethernet (100Mbps) or Gigabit Ethernet (1Gbps)?.. if you are using wired internet connection and your internet subscription (unifi, Maxis or Time) is more than 100 Mbps, then you can run Speedtest on your TV (you can either download speedtest from google play or run from web). If it's doesn't reach 100Mbps then it's FastE, if it goes beyond !00Mbps then most likely GigaE. I asked two different Lazada sellers, one says FastE, the other says GigaE... hmmm. Thanks for your help.

Got the answer.. FastE.. in the Thai 4TCBK1X review.. they took a picture of the ethernet connetion at 10/100.... hmm. It seems all 4K tv be it sony, samsung, LG and even sharp still use FastE. TQ

Yea,all models mostly using 10/100 Fast Ethernet (100Mbps).
Using WiFi 5Gz ,you can get higher speed (if you need).

Yes but funny I read, if I'm not mistaken, the manual for Samsung 7400 recommends using CAT7 cable for wired ethernet connection. CAT7 is rated for 10G, kinda overkill for fastE (100Mbps) connection. I saw another manual from different brand recommending the use of CAT6. These recommendations can lead to different assumptions for users. You don't even need to use CAT5e.. CAT5 is enough for fastE. It's 2020 already, broadband products already offering way beyond 100mbps. Even powerline ethernet adapter can cater for up to 500mbps.

Did some quick reading, while there'll be no problem for 4k netflix or youtube but it'll pose some problem if you open 4k video from NAS or PC via local network.. bitrate problem.. even on 5Ghz wifi.

the problem with big 4khdr files streaming is not so much about the TV ethernet port.
100mbps is good for most big files.
take a massive 80GB 2 hr long 4kdr ddatmos video... 80,000/2/60/60x8=88mbps.
it should do OK, but it may not.
the bottleneck is usually the tv player app, router or the pc.
the tv native player app sucks - low grade, poor with subs, some formats/types, navigation.
but this is normal as tv makers focus on displays and picture quality, not playback player, audio, networking.

if your files are big ones, it is better u get a separate box player to handle them, use the tv just for display.
if u search around, there are many users doing it with various boxes working with nas, samba, upnp, etc.
however, if your files r rather small like 10-20GB, it should be ok with just the tv - ethernet or wifi.
for that, i suggest u use kodi app from playstore for playback, it is superior to mx or vlc.
