I have a good, lightweight laptop HP Spectre x360.
Thinking to buy either iPad mini or iPad Pro 11".

But not sure if this is waste of money, so would like to see opinions from LYN ya. smile.gif

To show pictures to customers mainly when in standing position in roadshows. Other than that, to practice reading e-books and media consumption.

Currently i own MSI GS65,
thunder bolt dock in office with an 27inch screen keyboard mouse & HDD bla bla bla...
and an ipad mini with sim,
linked to Google Drive or NAS for easier presentation.

for refer i working as Marketing,Graphic Design & Web building,
so PC/Mac, IOS, Tablet, Phone browser will shown different pattern...
so i need an PC, Tablet & Phone for display.

Edited:
iOS Tablet like iPad is good as their battery life is better compared to android tablet,
ipad mini can last long around 8~10hours with 30% screen brightness,
cut another 1hours+ if u using 4G.

I find ipad not easy for own media consumption. Only online stuff OK. Prefer android or laptop cause easy to transfer media.

Speaking of note taking, I find that if I have to purposely bring laptop for seminar writing it's actually kinda bulky! Even though my laptop is just 1.2kg.. haha what a spoilt kid.

Heck, you can even install google photos and set it to sync if you took pictures from your phone.

Don't forget the data charges if that cost affects you.

I bought iPad because my work requirement.. but nowadays i am using iPad for mostly everything, especially with iPadOS which makes transferring files easier than before

However for heavy stuff like video editing, multitasking with many tabs open at once, laptop still the better choice. If you are doing sales like me, iPad can do almost everything you need.

Maybe you can buy used 6th Gen iPad and try first whether you like it or not
Install all apps that are useful for your work and try to use it everyday
Get the Apple Pencil too if possible
If you feel uncomfortable with it after few weeks, can sell it off at minimal loss
