Try to get a flat screened, IPS based monitor.

Samsung seems the closest.

Buy the Samsung one, because it has the highest typical brightness at 350cd/m2 vs 300 (MSI) and 250 (AOC)

All three uses the same Samsung SVA panel (i.e. the LSM236HP02-G) - so pick the cheapest of the lot icon_idea.gif

Note that the AOC uses a custom backlight, however it still uses the same Samsung panel mentioned earlier icon_idea.gif

Another option is to get the AOC 24G2, which uses an IPS based flat panel (from Panda) rather than the curved VA panel you mentioned icon_idea.gif
