Hi guys,

Recently I’ve just bought an iphone 11 for my wife and I’ll be using her XS Max.

Will need some help transferring all data (not only whatsapp) from my Oppo R9S (running on Android 6) to the new phone including but not limited to messages, contacts, photos, screenshots, videos, especially whatsapp images in my photos

I do know about the ‘move to ios’ app but also read alot of negative comments about it in the app review so am not too sure whether it really works or not

Another issue is with the transfer of whatsapp chat history... Some googling around leads me to this app called backup trans... It seems to work from the feedbacks but I’m really not that tech savvy to be able to do it myself hence would need some help out from fellow forumers here

Anyone here knows how to do it (especially the chat transfer)??? I don’t mind if you use backup trans or not so long as able to get the job done... Also will need help to transfer messages contacts etc as well. PM me price or reply here if anyone knows how to do it, we can arrange for a meet up and cash on the spot once done

I don’t mind if it turns out the process is really simple, because I simply don’t have the know hows.. Btw I stay at PJ area yea

How about you first try to use the Whatapps own backup to google function?

If still doesn't work, many you could request expertise to assist.

The easiest is to back-up to Google. Transfer Whatsapp to new phone and then restore chats from backup.

Guys, this is from android to IOS. The usual back up feature by Whatsapp will not work....

Android back up to Google Drive can't be restored on Whatsapp running on IOS...and vice versa

So...am I qualified now to look for expertise to assist???

there's actually a software out there call backuptrans. But you have to pay for the software

Backuptrans is your only solution.
Been there, done that.

Contacts,
backup all to google account, sign in to iphone and sync

Photos,
I used paid apps. Why? Coz its one of the easiest and fastest way to transfer photos to ios proper folder. Anytrans

Messages + call history
A lot of sms backup apps actually worked well. You need to backup, upload to cloud account, install in ios and restore

Notes
Copy paste from google to ios notes. Not sure if there is any faster way

It is possible. Use one of those softwares. I don't remember which.
