hi, i'd like t use my DIR-882 (given by TimeDotCom) to connect to Unifi, however it is not connecting, I'd like to flash the firmware from 3.5.8TT to default dlink DIR-882 firmware, please help!

It can't connect because you have not enabled VLAN tagging, or there is no option to enable VLAN tagging as TIME doesn't need it. Here you go: https://www.dlink.com.my/dir-882/#firmware  Download the firmware, and put it in a USB drive, and flash the firmware, and you will be set to go. |

Dlink website's firmware is for hardware version A1, my hardware version is R1, will it work?

getting this error message when flash using DIR882A1_FW100B07.bin: Failed to update the firmware. The firmware file may be corrupted or in incorrect format.

It's possible to use the Time firmware DIR-882 to connect to UniFi. You have to define at least VLAN 500. I set one up a few weeks ago for a friend. Works great for PlayTV and internet. |

how to upgrade the firmware to become can connect Unifi ?
hardware Version A1, Firmware is 3.5.8 TT  i have try this all firmware, but all fail .    |

Just to share I managed to update my firmware from TIME to this d-link firmware.
It showed failed but seem successfully updated. http://ftp.dlink.ru/pub/Router/DIR-882/Firmware/ 2020.12.19-20.43_DIR_882_MT7621AT_4.0.1_release.bin FROM: hardware revision a1 firmware version 3.5.8TT build time sep 21 2018 TO: hardware version A1 firmware version 4.0.1 build time: dec 19 2020 ui version: 1.20.0.3b D-link DIR-882 DIR882 |

Time locks with their firmware and can't be used on other network  . however, these are Russian edition and you can only flash using their firmware https://ftp.dlink.ru/pub/Router/DIR-882/Firmware/ You need to flash from recovery. check on youtube. |
