Hello /k,

I want to use services like FedEx, DHL, UPS, TNT to ship but I don’t have business account. Obviously the shipping cost will spike because I’m using it on personal capacity.

I was wondering does anyone know for logistics in Malaysia, can you assess a 3rd party website that does have account in various logistics company...

It’s like having travel website that quotes every price for you but instead it’s for logistics.

Your contribution will be truly appreciated.

My experience use easyparcel will be cheaper. When I'm in UK I will use parcelmonkey,
You go there key your parcel details, and choose from a list. The more you reload into your account the cheaper the delivery

I prefer if I can settle and pay online then someone collects or i can drop it off.

Too much hassle to just go find parking, waitfor my turn... and pass it to counter.

I thought usually by both. Shipping isn’t cheap without a business account.

How you wanna weigh your barang?

The items are large quantities. Not everyone has the privilege to get a 100kg, 500 kilo or 1t weighing scale to put at home, as you are required to provide weight and dimensions for their charge calculations.

Just tried EasyParcel, really good for Malaysian but hate the "top up" culture..

I saved so much, shipping 4.5kg projector to UK for RM211 under TNT (FedEx subsidiary). I saw FedEx quotation about RM560... almost killed myself.

I think top up culture itself is unhealthy culture.

A consumer who chooses to use EasyParcel for a few reasons, convenience, cheap because they have accounts with these commercial entities.

However, they choose to have top up culture, I can imagine someone who top up 50k in their account has more privilege than those who can't. Hence, people who has 50k in their account can also sell their account in the public for others to use to enjoy further price benefits + other benefits.

I don't feel its very nice to have top up culture, especially from my perspective, why should I park more money into your business.

I can imagine the accounts every year has a surplus..

I only found about this service when I was living in UK, parcel2go is better imho because no need top up culture.

I ship items back cost about 20pounds for a box filled with my stuff.
