Last December, I visited dentist to inspect my oral hygiene.

Long story short, dentist told me one of my wisdom tooth came out at an angle.
He explained the effect and consequences if did not extract it.
Well I am fully aware of the wisdom tooth that is jutting out and most of the time I have food stuck in between there.

After making a swift decision, I thought of getting the tooth out to prevent food from stucking. (my biggest concern)

Now it's almost one month+ since the wisdom tooth is extracted, there is a small hole left open from the incision.
Currently I am facing the same concern again, which is having food particle stuck behind my mouth.

Would just like to know, is this normal?
Will the hole closes after certain time?
Any solution to it?

Extra info: Extraction cost 1k, second most pain I experienced

i took out mine mid year last year during fasting month (what a smart ass I know so I wasnt able to take painkiller when the pain comes lol).
had quite an incision back there. you'll be surprised but after a while the hole will heal and fill it in itself. IDK how but nature takes its places. i just makes sure to brush extra around that part and gargle listerine often so it's bacteria free.

you can get a syringe or ask your dentist for one, so that you can flush out the hole with water. you'd be surprised at the amount of food that can get trapped in the hole. better take care of it or you might get an infection!

it is absolutely normal. It will fill up eventually. Mine took about 3-5 months to fill up. After a while, you will forget about it. Just get syringe and flush the food out

It’s normal, bone takes time to fill up the socket. Just make sure to clean the area properly after food.
