I thought I'd give a collective review having used these headphones for some time now instead of the usual reviews whenever new models of Tronsmart headphones come out.

A special shout out to the good people of Tronsmart for the opportunity to have worked together for sponsoring this content.

Top to bottom - Tronsmart Spunky Beat vs Onyx Neo. If you're interested in buying the missus a Valentine's gift you wouldn't go wrong with these. They're cute!

Hand for scale. The Onyx Neo is slightly smaller and fatter than the larger Spunky Beat.

Fitting snugly the latest iteration of Onyx Neo comes with a cool ambient 'halo' light along its edges

Pros
- What I like about Tronsmart products is their tendency to adapt to the latest techs available i.e. Qualcomm aptX, wireless charging (Spunky Pro), Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C charging, IPX5 splashproof
- Progressively their models (Spunky Pro > Spunky Beat > Onyx Neo) has shown improvements in both sound quality and clarity
- Bass feels deeper, treble sounds smoother. What impressed me most of all its durability. I've dropped these headpieces countless and they still look and work like a charm
- Price point, they may not be cheapest in the market but for that extra bit you spend you get what you are paying for

Cons
- Occasionally the Bluetooth headphones disconnect intermittently, apparently quite common in Android due to its power setting feature. So it isn't exactly a con but worth highlighting
- The Spunky Beat version had a volume issue (volume is low even on high setting) but this is sorted out with the Onyx Neo version

I've covered reviews of each headphones previously here and here. For the Onyx Neo fellow Lyn member @blurjoey has a pretty solid review here which you can geek out from.

Head on over to Tronsmart Lazada or Shopee page for upcoming promo offerings during the CNY and Valentine day celebrations

Signing off,
Your very-average reviewer
