My experience Chinese in Penang and KL is very bad one. The Penang Chinese guy openly admit to me he can't talk BM at all, not a lick of word. I appreciate his honesty but damm. In the bright side I talked and have interesting conversation with Chinese from Kelantan and Perak in BM, their BM so good that they restore my faith in this country.
