but another problem, USA has shown themselves to be willing to use "international standard" as a weapon to derail other countries economy, that's very shitty move. international standard itself should not be held by any country, especially a country who can at any time claim that they can prevent other countries from using that standard. international standard should always be free and available to everyone, otherwise it is not a standard in any meaningful way.

5g is a standard. implementation of it is a patent. different vendors can come up with their unique way to implement it.
