Go to MacUpdate now and obtain some superb softwares over which originally cost 400+ USD for only a cheap 49.99 USD. The bundle was just extended for another 3 days... Time is running out!

P/S: Go to MacHeist instead. Better Deal...

I bought this even before the Little Snitch was unlocked.

Now it's (obviously) great value-for-usd!

Of course they're the latest versions.

Haven't you bought shareware before? Generally; the updates with the same version number are free. More significant updates which move a version number have a discounted "update" fee.

Well I bought a couple of softwares before, all entitled to updates. Just wondering if there's a catch with this bundle. Remember there were some where they bundled the old versions for a low price.

Would most likely get this bundle though don't really see the use of some of it... YET! Haha..

There comes a point when you appreciate your PC/Mac so much that you do not want to pollute it with pirated softwares. I never had the urge to do so when i was using Windows mostly, not because Windows' pirated software are more available than Mac's but rather because some Windows' softwares don't work as beautifully as Mac softwares. Somehow I feel that Mac softwares are worth every cent.

to each his own. smile.gif

from my limited experience with OSX, software is not necessarily better on it. (don't flame me, fanboys)
maybe it cos apple has better control over their hardware whereby there are only a limited number of compatible hardware that OSX runs on. so there isnt a need to write 100s and 100s of drivers just to make it run on all machines. and thus this expands to other software programmers too where they only code for one set of hardware.

when the OS is opened to other hardware for example (eg OSX86) thats where the problems set in. incompatible drivers are the main stumbling block for mass installation of OSX.

i may be wrong in my assessment, but i think thats a valid point.

who knows, maybe the closed hardware/software is the way forward in software development. then again, looking forward, wouldnt this lead to a one company dominance of the PC market which we have been told time and again "stifles creativity"?

oh and software piracy is wrong. wink.gif

The problem with Windows (XP or Vista) is NOT a question of drivers. Microsoft has been hiding behind that pile of BullCrap for way too long. It's just poorly written bloatware.

If it was a question of drivers, PC manufacturers who have control over hardware (Dell and HP for example) and were partners in Vista development would have ZERO implementation glitches.

... that's hardly the case now, is it?

I'd bought into the hype and bought TWO copies of Vista Home Premium. Both have since been de-installed.

And we've derailed from the object of this post just because of your pro-piracy stance. You've had too much attention as it is. Let's get back on topic please.

Another "PC so great, Mac so good" thread eh?
This is to tiring. Can't you all just get along?

Sometime I just hate what Intel Macs has done to the small group of mac users.

that sounded like judgment coming from a high horse.

in our country i sincerely doubt there are people who has NEVER watched a single knock off DVD or torrented the latest episode of Heroes or downloaded an mp3.

so if you, MacDaNife, is one such person, i salute you.

Yes many in our community uses piracy one way or another. But most of us just keep quite or try our best to minimise it. It's nothing one should be proud of, nor one should protect his/her rights on it.

And you know this is a topic about good deal on legalising some nifty softwares.

What's your point of ruin the thread? You gain something out of it?
