like you never let out a instantaneous yelp, grunt or gasp when you're shocked or hurting, regardless if it's physical, mental or psychological pain etc

there's also some sort of crowd effect or whatever it's called, hivemind? herd effect?
it's like a mass confusion or hypnosis when you're in a crowd and when something happens and you expected someone to react a certain way, and it becomes contagious, even you suddenly joined in, and everyone is entranced, religious or any spiritual mass works like this too
like in the cinema or concert etc, when someone applauds and clap their hands, or yell and cheers and it starts a chain reaction etc
as if you would do it when you're alone in the room, watching sports or movie, no one does that when they're alone
