It depends how hungry a nation for growth...the more hungry..the faster they climb.Also Vietnam start with low base. By 10 years they will match Malaysia if growth at that rate.

This is only true if Malaysia has a negative growth rate.
They are about 20-30 years behind Malaysia for now.
