Recently our company came up with new merchandise, but due to low popularity, the management is forcing employees to buy 1 shirt each (RM80/shirt), is it even legal to force employee to buy shirt like this? its not required to wear this shirt during work.

IMO, Management will force you guys to buy up the merchandise, in other way to cover the mistakes made by Management. There are nothing you can do. Management should give free instead...

Getting Started

RM 80 sounds like trying to profit from employees. Cost of these shirts should be round RM20 - RM40 since they bought in bulk. Not rite wei...
At least sell at cost la.

Haha instead of company making profits by finding a potential clients, they just make the employee as their client first.
