Hi guys, all this while been using a mechanical watch that was given to me by my father. Finally thought of buying one.

Wanted it to be automatic type. If possible, white watch face, leather straps. Diameter around 40+ mm? Budget rm500. Stretched to max maybe RM550.

Can suggest some nice ones? Saw a few Orient Bambino selling at RM700. Hmm.

What watch you are wearing now?
Go for Seiko 5 Automatic or Orient FEM7J005W with your RM500 budget.
Some of the Seiko 5 may be under 40mm size.

Another option, CADISEN from Aliexpress.
Come with metal bracelet, sapphire crystal and Seiko movement NH36A hack-able mechanical movement under USD 60.

If you are ok with non branded, look for those with Sea-gull movements, some branded as Parnis have nice designs.

These 2 looks nice. But the second one, the 12 and 6 hour mark makes it looks kinda meh. Else it's nice for me.

Whatever your choice is. NEVER go with DW, Vincero, MVMT those types of fast fashion brand.
They charge premium price for mediocre quality.

Get a Seiko, Orient.. Heck, even fossil will do.

Go digital smart watch lar. You can change the clock face whenever you need. And it tracks your activity closely.

I'm considering to top up for this. Coz it matches a lot of what I want. White watch face, automatic, leather, 41mm.

Solartime selling at rm800.

But when I Google it. The price fluctuate between 500+ to 600+ to 800. For the open heart series.

So my question is, how do I know the actual market price? If I wanna go c c look look at shop, so that I know how much is the market price. Then I can easily just make my purchase at shop if the price is right.
