i think can get the control board for the panel for a few hundred.
just need to swap it if it went dead.
but i think that is fairly 2-3years away

all the board etc is in the sound bar. If they have an upgrade just get the latest soundbar from them.

My screen is 60" 4K, which can last quite a while, until now 4k support also still in infancy

I thought 4k already come out so many years, why 4k still infancy?
I just upgraded from my 55" FHD 3D TV to 70" 4k TV, missed the 3D function, 3D would have look great with the added resolution  sad.gif

How many movie you watched in 4k?

Already out in market more than 5 years but 4k still infancy, yet TV manufacturer already started to push out 8k set........
TV makers really working hard to sell us new tv set every 4-5years  laugh.gif

I hope the next upgrade 85-100" 8k tv will be affordable soon  innocent.gif

The tech is nothign new. But the adoption rate is still not up to par. Heck some movies on TV still running 720p...
