Very hard to prove by looking at credentials. Because you don’t simply appoint any tom dick or harry to become VC. All those VC comes with outstanding CVs. It’s not like how you appoint chairman/ceo in GLCs.

You have to do research on their extra curricular activity for you to link with anything.
