A Chinese national in his 30's who lived in Kanagawa was confirmed to have been infected with the mysterious coronavirus which recently broke out in Wuhan, China.
The man was ill even before he return to Japan on the 6th and had to be admitted to the hospital on 10th when he developed pneumonia.
National Institute of Infectious Diseases confirmed the man to be positive for the new virus and ordered isolation and investigate the people he had been in contact with.
The Chinese man said that he didn't travel to the local seafood market in Wuhan where multiple patients are involved.
He had been discharged from the hospital on the 15th when it had been determined that his symptoms are safe to be released.

Businesses particularly those at tourist spot such as Asakusa had started to voice distrust and fear towards foreigners/Chinese.
