I think we just do the simple comparison, MSI GL 63 FHD 60 Hz and TUF highest panel FHD 120 Hz both of them panel are normal, but price almost the same.

Why not choose 144Hz with the almost the same price with these two.

If you have brand preference,  then go ahead. If not, I think you can experience all of it then make the decision.

Dude, i7-9th+1660ti is able to reach 144Hz if your setting is default. If you choose the high quality, the frequency will be 100-110 around.

In general, your spec is good enough to play this game even in high quality. If you have addiction like me that if the computer cannot run the high quality on games, I will never play. Then, I will suggest you at least choose 2060. Like ASUS G531、MSI GE/GS or Gigabyte AOURS 15/AERO 15 RTX those laptops will be good for FPS game.

Hope my experience can solve your problems.

Hi my friend, just want to share some information that I found.

Razer Blade 15, honestly I like its chassis and logo. In 2018, I got my first annual bonus. At the same time, my mac pro 15 started getting slow (I bought it 2012). Because my job, I need to use and interested I use to using some applications.
1. Video editing software
2. Visual Stuido C++
3. LOL
4. Watch Netflix and FOX+(but F is gone>"<)

Therefore, I consider below laptops.
1. MSI GS
2. Razer
3. MAC again

But, I concerned some problems.
MSI, Hinge is suck. Although its chassis is elegant.
Razer, thermal system is not that well. Considering my works. I am afraid that it cannot....
MAC...way to expensive. It cannot play my favorite game. SO...

In the end, I ask my friend in TW to get AERO 15 x9. Why I picked it up i will be another story.

But I see one of its features color calibration- X-rite Pantone.

The article mention my needs.

X-rite Pantone
Have you ever had an experience is that the color on the screen and the color that you see in reality, not the same? Moreover, it was causing you a huge problem like that you have to adjust the color on the screen again and print it again. What? Not the same color again? Ok! Adjust again print it out again. You will do the same things over and over again just like programmers wrote a "For Loop," but they did not give it a stop condition. It must drive you crazy!

This time, I am going to talk about “Color calibrated" and "X-Rite Pantone." You will understand how it is essential for content creators.

X-Rite Pantone provides a universal language of color that enables color-critical decisions through every stage of the workflow for brands and manufacturers. More than 10 million designers and producers around the world rely on Pantone products and services to help define, communicate and control color from inspiration to realization – leveraging advanced X-Rite technology to achieve color consistency across various materials and finishes for graphics, fashion, and product design (More information about X-rite-pantone). So, you will understand why lots of companies have to ask X-rite Pantone for help.

However, if you are sensitive on color, you will find out not each panel's quality as same as what they said before, even though they claim they have the certificate of X-rite Pantone. Why? Here, I show you two different logos.

The circle one is that all panels are calibrated by X-Rite Pantone, which means the factory has to set up an assembly line and Install the calibrated-equipment for examining each panel to make sure the panels' Delta E < 1. Gigabyte belongs to this one. We are the one and only one guarantee that each panel can be precise to present all color on the sRGB and Delta E < 1. I want to add something here to let you know about “Delta E.”

※Delta E is the standard calculation metric which correlates the human visual judgment of differences between two perceived colors. In the DeltaE system, 1 is the standard, of cause it depends on the people. Sometimes DeltaE around 4 that some people still cannot tell the differentiation. Therefore, in the most panel industry, companies are used to setting DeltaE = 3 to 5 for a standard. However, for professional designers, it will be a disaster. They have to make some adjustments before using. Generally speaking, the lower the Delta E number, the closer the display matches the input color to the display’s reproduced color.

Another logo is that the factory only sent a couple of their best panels to X-rite Pantone for examining then they will get the license. They do not need to set up another assembly line to examine each panel's DeltaE. To put it briefly, they bought the license. Therefore, when you buy a screen or laptop, it will be similar to a lucky draw.

All in all, Gigabyte is the only company to have X-rite Pantone calibrated- certificate. So our laptops are extremely suit for content creation. Customers can very easily recognize panels' quality by X-rite Pantone's sticker.

Deeds, Not Words.

For now what I know that if 15.6 inch laptop there are some models that the panel can reach to designers' needs.
ASUS UX510
DELL Inspiron 15 7000 (not gaming, that screen is poor)
Lenovo Yoga 720
Acer cerVN7

In addition, the color rendering of MSI GP72 (17.3 inches) is very bright.
I wonder if the 15.6-inch GP62 has the same level of color development?
But MSI seems to use TN panel non-IPS.

So if AERO can also offer better quality of Pantone panel which can help a lot of designers or other content creator. biggrin.gif

Hi Sir, about the OLED panel.
All of our Notebooks not just get the Pantone Certificate, but also do the Pantone X-Rite calibration in the factory.
We believe that there are some outstanding Laptops also get the Pantone Certificate, however, only Gigabyte do the Pantone X-Rite calibration in the factory.
By doing this, we can offer best quality of laptops for our customers.

First of all, Gigabyte/ASUS / MSI / ACECR we are all Taiwan Brands, so each of us have its own pro and cons in products.

However, we believe that there are two things that you can not upgrade after buying laptops

1.Panel
Most sales will not tell you the difference of the panel but only spec. However Gigabyte insist that we should offer at least 144Hz panel to customers.

2.CPU & GPU
One laptop can be used for at least 3~5 years, therefore, Gigabyte only provide best spec of laptops to users. We do not use i3 / i5 cpu. And the lowest GPU would be GTX1650.
