Sifu sekalian, just read back few pages, here is my take, we should only invest in UT if we deposit extra 6k monthly into it, otherwise just deposit normally and earn 4%. Is that right?

Is there any way to do one time transfer? It is very troublesome if needs to register the payee when we only pay once.

QUOTE(Gabriel03 @ Feb 12 2020, 06:25 PM) But we need his IC or mobile number right? What if we want to transfer to some business accounts? Or he might not want to share us the IC or contact.

QUOTE(Eurobeater @ Feb 13 2020, 12:38 AM) Cannot do normal instant transfer? I can't find the option to do one time transfer like other bank. QUOTE(Gabriel03 @ Feb 13 2020, 08:57 AM) Bussiness Account can also register for DuitNow and they will have a unique reference code that you can use. Have to ask the company if they have one. In the end, probably use the traditional way since there is a hassle for both methods. Yalo, very mafan if like this.

QUOTE(LostAndFound @ Feb 13 2020, 02:48 PM) Not possible. Just need to add the account, transfer, then delete it later. Source: my wife used SCB for years and years di since even before DuitNow. After a while I look at her transfer screen also penat, got dozens of saved. Yalo, so far this is the only complaint from me.

Hi sifu, I have a semi flexi Maybank Islamic housing loan with an interest rate of 3.75%, since there is this moratorium right now, should I just stop the monthly instalment for 6 months and put my money in SCB PrivilegeSaver to maximise the saving? After 6 months, one shot dump back the money back to my housing loan.

QUOTE(!@#$%^ @ Apr 4 2020, 11:52 PM) do note you will still be charged interest on your housing loan balance for 6 months. Ya, I know that. But 4% PrivilegeSaver is > 3.75% interest. I know the saving might be little, but heh free money right. 😆

Why my debit card cannot used to top up ewallet? I tried on BigPay and TnG also failed. It failed at the Standard Chartered transaction screen.
