Is it possible to sign up for this account online? SCB branch is very far from my place (124 km).

I have already 2 credit card from SCB and thus an online account.

you can try but i couldn't find it in my online banking portal.
you can also register your interest online, select your preferred branch and prolly someone will approach you.
i went to mall and sign up with SCB agent booth at Queensbay, Penang

Debit card for PSA is foc? Agent told me rm8 as subsequent annual fee. The free MEPS atm withdrawal is attractive though

Extra amount after 100k in SC Privilege Savers Account is 2.5%, correct?
This is much higher than the after 100k in OCBC 360 which is only 0.1%, am I right on the 0.1%?

So if greater than 200k the balance I will be better off putting in SCB PSA.
Just temporarily stash in SCB and OCBC before transferring it out on last few days of March to 1st of April

Isn't the base interest for PSA itself of 0.5% is still higher than 360 base interest of 0.1%?
*
Ohh for PSA, more than 100k, the interest is only 0.5% instead of 0.5%+2.0%?
Thanks

is there any caveat on the rm1000 spend on credit cards? e.g. no bills like tnb, no donation etc.
*
I think no but ideally you'd wanna maximize on those categories that may earn you cashback if you're using cashback cards

Anything doing this
OCBC>SCB everyday?

If everyday 30k 30k, is the large number. Worry the bank close your Saving Account and ask for Current Account instead.

Will LHDN come and have tea time with you since so large amount and transaction?
*
If you wanna avoid LHDN or SCB team calls or audits, then better don't do it.

Is there a thread on RHB Smart Savers? Thanks.
No choice but was forced to move from SCB PSA to RHB Smart Savers from March onwards.
