No, that is what BM is, a mixture of words from other language. Very proud of their rojak language. Until they discard their own BM words. I am sure you notice this too
well, every language have their own slang language version of it, using modified words, words that are loaned from other language etc3...
example, aus slang english
and like any language, some of the speaker can only speak the slang version of it and fail at the original version
