Another weird thing is the KOPPLA 5 meter extension cable. Why no mention of cable awg? Ikea put detailed dimension for every furniture but not this? I don't mind paying for it if it's 10awg.

I have never tried the Ikea one. But the MK has very rigid and heavy plastic. The spring mechanism inside is not loose also. Even the one i had that had for a few years & its exterior plastic yellowed still clicks and works. But that time i remember buying this for RM23.90 at some electrical shop. I also have those RM2.90 cheapo ones. The mechanism always breaks and the outer plastics will be brittle. If you drop it, chances of it cracking is high.

we should start a thread on things that users found to be on sales/underpriced/bargain at famous or chain outlets.

That will be putting forums to good use and possibly unite all netizens

u cn get a high quality type c cable for rm10 -15 at phone accesories shop

and also type c cable got good n bad specs punya, u do noe some cables support up to 5A charging?

while those cheap type c usb cables like those sold in mr diy or daiso for rm5 - 10, those are usually 1 - 1.5A oni, charging will b slow

and u need at least 2 -2.4A or 3A for quick charge to work, so need check the amperage that the cable support also

Well, i would not say its cheap and not way expensive either. U can find the same product, in fact better product quality in electrical stores, the wholesale ones.

stock one frm hp box is good quality ones and usually support quick charge too

dont buy frm mr diy, those are poor quality and overpriced too based on their specs, and charge slow too

u can get something like dis, rm10 oni and fully support 3A quick charge
https://s.lazada.com.my/s.ZyOdn

and i just checked the ikea type c cable, its oni 2A max output, means it doesnt support quick charge, u use it on a quick charge charger n ur phone will still charge slow

Same thing. Usb 2.0(480mbps transfer), probably better amp rated.
less than rm10. If you grab it during flash sale @rm2, buy 4 and free shipping. Still less than rm10 for 4 quality cables.

stock one frm hp box is good quality ones and usually support quick charge too

dont buy frm mr diy, those are poor quality and overpriced too based on their specs, and charge slow too

u can get something like dis, rm10 oni and fully support 3A quick charge
https://s.lazada.com.my/s.ZyOdn

and i just checked the ikea type c cable, its oni 2A max output, means it doesnt support quick charge, u use it on a quick charge charger n ur phone will still charge slow

Good for you.
I wonder why cal-lab marketing isn't that strong.

Dunno. I don't see them around

Belkin has warranty up to a certain value. So that gives a lot more confidence, IMO

On this topic.. where can i find good quality power extension...?
*
If want good. Make your own. Most extentions are crap anyway. Only useful for light load. Plug something high draw and wire heats up.

Get 10awg or thicker copper core wire, and use good quality metal sockets. Last you a lifetime.

Another weird thing is the KOPPLA 5 meter extension cable. Why no mention of cable awg? Ikea put detailed dimension for every furniture but not this? I don't mind paying for it if it's 10awg.

I will not buy any USB-C cable without knowing its spec. The current state of USB-C is a mess.
Same goes to the old micro USB2.0 - if there is no printing of AWG, I will not buy.
