get photoshop cs2. it is free download from adobe. somemore they give u the serial too..

my compnay uses it.. at least have the job done, no need lastest version

cloud subscription based will be the reality next 5 years.

nothing new; you still have the software when you purchase and renew; just that it is all cloud based and updated over time.

My company wanted us to do artwork and all but don't want to pay for Adobe license.
Since it's company PC so can't install ahem version. Forced to use open source apps to get the job done.

Been using GIMP to replace Photoshop and Inkscape to replace Illustrator.

powerpoint now can do photoshop, for basic....

CS2?........I use at least CS5, but sometime received file from other company using CC or higher, cannot open file.....malu, need to ask them to downsave to CS5

Then I download Adobe CC 30 days trial version from Adobe site, can use, just need to hack/renew serial number every 30 days to keep using.

actually I used to be in art and design school in PJ but I dropped out second sem so didnt learn anything useful haha
dropped out when I realized I couldn't draw or have a talent to snap photo or create video
but I memang love art and design when it comes to doing it digitally
I love doing all these digital graphics...like icon etc
I wish I have the talent to draw and colour, would have draw and paint shits everyday

If you mentioned the above then you don't really understand fundamentals of art.

True if you can draw or paint will give you an advantages, going to school will teach you that n if you practice hard you may be able to draw and paint.

After that graduate and find a job .. if luck and talent and skills good will end up in Pixar or big companies.. If not so good become freelance..

If you view the process of art design this way then you forever stuck in doing this cycle of "art".


Art is very subjective in fact so much definition, but art itself is a process. I have friends who are in CSM of RCA doing Fine art masters level but they cant draw properly like animation level of drawing + coloring.

But they are able to make art and sell them hopefully in the future. People are keen on your process.

If jackson pollock first painted his artwork do people understand what it truly meant until they studied his process and discipline in his work.
