The lan cabling has more long term uses than the coaxial/power thingy ..

Prices all down due to dahua oem etc.

Every MP increment is a lot of difference. If your cam shows the silhouette of a human but unable to show the face clearly, it is as good as junk, unless you just wanna use for motion detection.

POE grade LAN cable more expensive due to smaller gauge (bigger diameter)? Or will ultra cheap LAN cable suffice?

Just get as per spec cat 6 etc roll. I got schneider.
The diff with non branded ones price wise very little. Think i paid rm400 for 100ft or something like that 5 years back.. cheap ones were arnd 250

The problem with those cheap ones they dont follow the cat requirement but only sell at few bucks cheaper. Example cat 6 has that plastic thing in the middle and cat 7 has shielding etc.

This type of advertisement is very old product. Don't buy AHD because i guarantee they give lousy decoder.

I suggest you buy POE camera (network) if less than 4 cameras

Brand buy Hik Vision or Dahua, dont buy others
