Played CN server since May 2019, currently Rank 92.

The game update is kinda slow tbh, only 1 mainstory/event per month. For other times, farm mats and money to raise units. You will be lacking money most of the times (raising units are expensive)

With other servers release, maybe they will speed up the game updates.

End up rerolling for Eyja since waifus and I heard she is OP in the long run.

This game is by far my new favourite gacha game. Very f2p friendly imo. Doesn't need 6* characters to clear content, and even if you have a lot of 6* characters, you won't be using them all because of high deployment points.

Best thing about it is that you can recruit 6* rarity characters by luck.. altho it's slim it's somthing tbh.. and guaranteed. Love this part especially, and the gameplay is very interesting so far imo.

Azur Lane no competition la, most f2p game ever. This one you can't farm SSR units, but just by luck getting recruitment tag called Top Operator.

The only problem I see Arknights has is that the energy system.. energy seems to run quick, so yeah.. but for casuals it's not bad, for hardcores gotta refill a lot.

Only if I get lucky and get Siege will I try for that banner. The guaranteed 5* has a high chance of it being Cliff or Pramanix. Both of which you can obtain easily the selector ticket and cliff from log in rewards.

SilverAsh is cool and all, but I don't think I need him tbh.

I got Pramanix. Luckily I haven’t used the unit selector ticket. I’ll wait until I have 3 of the 4 units hopefully, then pick the unit I’m missing with the ticket.

I am also not using the ticket yet, maybe wait until it is about to expire only use, just in case I got any more 5* in the future.

Siege manner fast la come, I want to get her.. Maybe might pay 20 dollars for the 20x headhunter ticket since I don't mind supporting the dev, really like the game atm, a bit obsessed tbh

Yes good game, but I wish there are more sanity.

Same Sanity is really low, even those who whale can only recharge 10 times only. Not sure why they are restricting it tbh. Maybe just want to cap people from progressing too quick.

Gameplay walkthrough and tutorial have existed for many years, back in the days of IGN, GameSpot, etc before mobile gaming.

That’s why I try to complete the stages on my own, and only look for a specific stage’s tips if I spent too much time failing a stage. But completing a stage this way actually is not as satisfactory as completing it on my own.

That guide is good if you just want to clear things quick to progress imo since it uses a lot of low rarity units and cost are at a bare minimum.

I clear with my own units, and after I cleared it at 3 stars, i'll look on that guide video and always end up seeing a different style of play and positioning.

Literally many ways to play each stages, so don't make it like it's the only way to play, because every characters if not all, is really well balanced and has a different role in the game.

No bad operators, only bad doctors.

The rates are 2% but after 50 pull, it will go up by 2% every pull if not mistaken.. so at 99 pull if you don't get a 6*, the 100th pull is a guaranteed 6* unit.

You can also collect advanced certificate from dupes and new units, and once it reaches 180 advanced certificate you can exchanged it for a 6* units, it's the real pity system in the game, and if you want a 5* instead it's just 45 advanced certificate. Best thing about the certificate is that it never expires, unlike other gacha games which expires every new banner which sucks. Units to redeem is changed every new banners. Check CN past banner to predict what will be next and etc.

Who should I E2 first?

Really depends on you, I would go with the S2 skill that is most useful to clear content. For me for example, I'd go with my Eyja because of the Volcano skill, literally melts everyone around her instantly, really good for a lot of enemies rushing in.

Just maintenance, since a lot of SEA players had connection issues yesterday night. Altho not officially released in SEA they did fix it rather quick.

To E2 just one character is pain in the ass man, so much sanity used.. I'm just about to E2 my first unit. 6* unit ofc.

I still think it's less pain than Epic Seven, considering that E2'ing your chars are end game stuff.

Oh god please don't mention to me that game lol. It's a good thing there isn't stupid RNG gear stats and all that crap tbh. Yeah it's considered easy for endgame that's true. But the amount of sanity needed, and if lets say you're f2p, it's gonna take a very freaking long time to just E2 one single unit, just saying. I'm still loving the game no doubt.

Available for SEA region, bukan new server. So it's the current Global server.

So how is it? Recommended? Just saw this game on YouTube and haven't try yet. Because usually only play turn based gacha games while this one is TD. Have mixed feeling to try.

As with any genre, either you like it or you don’t. No harm trying, as SEA players will have access after today’s update.

I have doubts at first as well because tower defense game. But damn it's a good one. Story wise really good for a mobile game, characters are well drawn, the gameplay itself really need to use your brain to clear the stage. What's better is that it's only pve, no pvp, so no pay to win stuff. Enjoy at your own pace, if you are into waifu collecting gacha game, it's definitely good for that.

Only downside is that the energy system is a bit of a problem. But if you are planning to just play it casually, it's perfect, but if you plan to play it all day long, it might be a problem since you can only recharge your energy 10 times a day. In the chinese version, the limit was lifted but not for a long while.

So yeah, there is a lot of good about the game. Story is well written, gameplay is good, art style is great. Give it a try and see if you enjoy it. All my friends playing this game now.

I'm now just lvl3. Got just Angelina for my 10x draw. And others are just normal 3 or 4 stars.
What is the recommended unit to get?

Can be enjoyable if you can accept TD genre, love challenges and utilize different strategies (depends on the units you have on hands)


Cons of this game:
Need alot of patience
- Leveling units, especially 6* units take alot of resources and may take awhile
- Need to spend time to on your phone/emulator to clear event rewards, you will be playing the same stages again and again (can be auto, each stage takes about 2 min or above if run at max gamespeed, but need to do hundreds times)

Actually all units are good in this game. Well balanced game mostly. It's just up to your preference what units you find good, because each unit has different roles in the game because of their different skill sets. There is no bad operators, only bad doctors

Picked ProjectRed for the 5* draw, but don't know how to use her.

Yeah Angelina isn't as good when starting out, but once she is invested and you get her to Elite 2, she is one hella a beast in game. Instead of focusing on just playing higher rarity operators, I suggest you to use those free operators as well since they are good.

Yes promotion. E2 is a long process, so it will be a while till you get it. E2 is basically the endgame upgrade in the game.

My approach is different in a sense that I have stopped continuous recruiting after the first batch of getting the common units.

Now I’m withholding my recruitment tickets and keep refreshing the tags until good tags come up or I don’t recruit at all.

I’ve only gotten a 5* operator tag once and got Pramanix from it. Luckily I haven’t used my unit selector ticket.

Pre reg bonus is suppose to be permanent for new players, it never expires. The gems in the mail is the pre reg bonus. The guaranteed 6* banner is also part of the newbie bonus.

This was in the news before of what bonuses will expire.

Bad idea you will have tons of tickets and won't use them. Plus you won't be collecting enough certificate to exchange for orumdum and headhunt tickets and other goodies in the shop.

FYI, only newbie banner(6* guarantee for 21 pull) has cheap recruitment cost(360 orundum each) normal banner 600 orundum.
