There is a way higher chance for US to launch a land invasion against Iran than for China to launch a land invasion against Taiwan.

Everyone wants to save face and says it’s an option but they’ll try to avoid it at all cost.

The price to pay is high if invade.

And if fail to invade, it even worst.

No turning back already.

US-China relationship already became that of adversaries regardless of Trump or trade wars.

Tomorrow Trump will sign the trade war agreement with China.

China coming to this far, will they want jeopardize it? Don't think they will touch Taiwan for sometime now.

But after trump election, 2nd round trade war will be coming. It is not end yet.

And the same time, TW ppl need to work harder, so they can buy overpriced
military machinery and equipment from US. And this US allowed, coz only sell them low tech one.

You're outdated.

US don't sell the high tech military to Taiwan in the pass is because don't want provoke China. When US still friendly with China. You know China always complain when US sell to Taiwan.

Another reason is, US worry Taiwan will join back to China where their military tech will fall to China.

But after Trade war and last yrs, Trump start to sell high tech military to Taiwan. Included the latest M1 Abraham tank.

And it will be continue selling more to Taiwan in future. After this election where the Taiwanese prove to US, they support them over China.

Wonder what will China do if US start to sell F35 to Taiwan.
