Kilang Danone Dumex (M) Sdn Bhd di Nilai memberhentikan 165 daripada 198 pekerja.
SEREMBAN: Seramai 165 daripada 198 pekerja kilang susu formula Danone Dumex (M) Sdn Bhd di Kawasan Perindustrian Nilai diberhentikan kerja setelah pihak pengurusan syarikat memutuskan untuk menutup operasi pengeluaran bermula 13 Januari 2020.

Exco Sumber Manusia, Perladangan dan Hal Ehwal Bukan Islam, J Arul Kumar berkata berdasarkan maklumat diperolehinya, operasi kilang tersebut dipindahkan ke fasiliti syarikat di Thailand sebagai langkah penstrukturan semula dan kecekapan pengeluaran.

“Dia sudah ada syarikat di Thailand, jadi pindah operasi ke Thailand. Tidak ada kena mengena isu lain,” katanya kepada FMT.

Isnin lalu, Ketua Pemuda Umno Wilayah Persekutuan, Mohamed Nizham Abdullah Hamidi memuat naik di hantaran di Facebook mengenai pemberhentian operasi kilang itu.




Nizham mendakwa lebih 300 lebih pekerja kilang itu diberhentikan disebabkan kilang itu akan menghentikan operasi dan berpindah ke Indonesia dan Thailand.

Mengulas dakwaan Nizham, Arul berkata ia tidak benar kerana hanya 165 pekerja diberhentikan dan operasi dipindahkan ke Thailand sahaja.

Arul yang juga Adun Nilai berkata semua pekerja terlibat diberi notis pemberhentian mulai 13 Januari 2020 hingga 12 April 2020 dan pekerja tidak perlu hadir dalam tempoh berkenaan.

Beliau berkata bayaran gaji Januari dan Februari akan dibayar mengikut tarikh bayaran upah biasa iaitu pada 23 hari bulan.


“Sekiranya pekerja memilih 29 Februari 2020 sebagai tarikh akhir bekerja, gaji ganti notis akan dibayar bagi tempoh selebihnya iaitu pada 1 Mac 2020 hingga 12 April 2020.

“Pampasan adalah baik dari segi nilainya, memang tinggi dan tidak ada isu apa. Jabatan Tenaga Kerja akan memantau pemberhentian dan pembayaran pampasan kepada pekerja terlibat, serta majikan akan membantu pekerja-pekerja terlibat mendapatkan pekerjaan baru,” katanya.

Beliau berkata, seramai 33 pekerja dikekalkan dan diserap ke Regional Cluster Ibu Pejabat manakala seramai 6 pekerja dipindahkan ke fasiliti syarikat di luar negara.

“Secara keseluruhan yang diberhentikan ialah seramai 116 lelaki dan 49 perempuan.

Sementara itu, Arul berkata isu pemberhentian kerja dan penutupan kilang ini bukan sesuatu yang baru.

Beliau berkata setiap tahun memang ada pekerja diberhentikan dan banyak kilang ditutup berdasarkan statistik 2014 hingga 2019.

“Namun dalam penutupan itu, ada juga kilang baru dibuka dan peluang pekerjaan baru diwujudkan. Pada masa lalu lebih ramai pekerja diberhentikan,” katanya

Try to enforce 996 culture with rm300 salary, i'm sure they will come back. Pay workers rm300 to work 6 days a week, 12 hours daily, no AL, no paid MC, no paid holiday.

Sshh don't tell them the truth. They still need to play race and religion issues.

Thai have a bigger market. It is much efficient to focus in that region. Also no unsound social-political or macro environmental issue like bmf...

I'm so frustrated with current gov action in improving economy.

Lihat la berapa kerat sangat penggiat seni yg kaya raya. Ramai lagi yg mati dalam keadaan papa kedana. Camna nak tolong bangunkan ekonomi negara.

Hasil2 seni yg jual sampai berjuta2 dollar tu pun bukannya penghasil seni yg untung. lebih2 lagi masa dia masih hidup. Dah meninggal bertahun lamanya baru terhegeh2 orang nak beli hasil seni dia. Siapa yg untung? Orang2 kaya dari negara yg ekonomi dah maju jugak.

Kesimpulannya, nak buat duit drpd hasil seni bukan tak mungkin, tapi langkah pertama, perkuatkan ekonomi negara dulu. Fokuskan pada usaha yg terutama. Ekonomi kukuh, duit berkepuk baru la cerita main seni. Ni ekonomi goyah, bayar bunga hutang pun sampai kena gadai aset negara, kepala hotak kau nak main seni2. Jangan kera di hutan disusukan, anak di rumah mati kelaparan.
