Putrajaya mainline near Putrajaya cemetery. Here it runs parallel with ECRL, opening up possibility for ECRL trains to go to Bdr Malaysia and KL sentral provided compatible signalling and loading gauge between two systems.

This shows that the new alignment is actually superior to what was originally planned by Najib which went via Bentong and stopped at Gombak, which is not connected to a main railway hub
