it is not that easy. Dollar collapse means the world economy will die together. Else China suka suka can throw USD to teach US a lesson.

everyone (countries) is holding so much USD. killing off USD will mean wiping out (big) part of their reserves. and trying to let go their USD, if significant... will cause downward pressure.. and may prompt others to throw their USD too, indirectly crashing USD... same thing as killing off USD. best thing is slowly move away from USD...

China got over 3 trillion usd reserve = 3000bil usd

USD is a trading currency. Impossible to replace it.

Until the world economy start using alternative currency substantially to settle their trades, USD is so safe other developing countries will bankrupt first before USD shows any signs of trouble.

i believe the remaining 60% of their reserve value will reduce to 40% or even lower

is a double edge sword

Not possible, if the US dollar dies the world economy is doomed that day. Many currencies are backed by the US dollar.
