the author said the story would finish in 2019. now is already 2020 and the story still going. with so many loose threads to cover, it will have to wait at least until the later half of 2020 before it can finish. actually it is more likely to finish in 2021 with only one update per month. so many character plots to cover still.

while the big questions are mostly answered, the various major character arcs remained to be further developed. annie, mikasa, connie, reiner, armin, levi, zeke, gabi and falco, all have their story arc to tell. with the slow progress of plots, it won't surprise me it will need another year before everything can be wrapped up.

boring lah AoT. Story so convoluted, I understand them, but they are just too stupid. It's like the author as being such a tryhard

This is what I don't like about manga.

When become popular, author will drag it so they can keep working it. Prime example : One Piece.
