Yup the exclusive Contra Game for the DS is coming maybe in the end of 2007 or maybe November or tba oh well . all that we have to do is wait ..

the first level seems almost the same as the 1st level in the original contra. Hope this won't be just a makeover of the old contra, i would really like to see new and improved contra, not just in the looks department, but alsothe innovativeness and total gameplay in general.

level 1 looks similar like the original contra, but with a few difference la
like you can use a hook shot to get to higher ground, and also hanging on some bar...
all these aren't in the original contra.

Haiz... still got few more months to wait for it...

Now i'm hoping they will make another favorite game of mine on NDS, Bionic Commander

that is the unique games....every moment we very carefully.hahaha.

if u want to play kena banyak kali but not dead,plz go to counter strike.but still die with 1 shot when got headshot.

Omigod....that's Contra. My favourite game. NDSL can play this? If yes, I have no doubt, NDSL will be in my next, confirm buying list.

p/s: Does anyone know if NDSL can play old Contra or not?

yes...tested..ahem.**..hardcore game...but compare with ps2 ver..is much more easier....classic code tested:no more 30 lives...but give u upgrade on weapon...input for more than 1 time=suicide

and how to activate the code. done it but no obvious change...

played finish on easy mode with my friend
manage to end without cheats

This game is too hard for me, even in "easy" mode I am struggling like hell but maybe I just suck at it because my friend seems to be enjoying the challenges in "normal" mode.

The game is hard, but I love it. Really reminds me of the glory days of the NES/SNES versions.

And as if we need more incentives to play this game, we can even unlock the original Contra - NES version. Lovely......

I agree this game is hard...I nvr even got pass the 1st boss T_T

Incredibly hard but amazingly fun. That is all I have to say about Contra 4.

FGS how to up up down down left right left right b a start the shit? it aint work! key in teh codes when pause right? how to pause? during game hit start to pause right?

only works in normal mode(and hard, I think), it upgrades your weapon and can only be used once. Yes, use start to pause, after key in the codes, press start to unpause. repeat the process and you will die.

Castlevania on the PSP was giving me quite a hard time already. Let see how Contra 4 works out

I am disappointed with Konami.The game does not included any book for the 20th anniversary.The instruction manual is also black and white.They should make it full colour or atleast have a book about contra history.Anyway, the game is good.

maybe those are included in digital form aka unlockables in the game.

from wad i see, u need to finish quite a few of the challege mode in order to unlock comic for contra 3 and 4 D:
i only finish 21/40 @_@

i finished 37/40....too hardcore....i affraid 1 day i will mad and slam my ds....

woohoo, juz started this game. Totally madness..we have to watch
out attacks from both screen. Which is incredibly fun. 2 thumbs ^^

Finally,I manage to complete all the challenge mode.Anyone who needs help can go to youtube and type"contra 4 challenge video guide".The guide is really good.

man the challenge mode is freaking hard . need a lot of patient to play it . need meditation to go to the no weapon mode challenge .. >_<
