Malays born in America (or even in Europe) have freedom of religion. They can explore other religions and belief systems if they wish.

This makes them more open minded (in a positive way) and not as dogmatic and fanatical as some of the local born chaps.

Their main issue would be their lack of Bahasa fluency.
