Standard sop is always 2 times. Back then random check to the oilmen turun from platform at kertih airport. Everyone need to put their sample and fill up the cup to the min level. Which is about 2/3 of the cup. If ujian saringan (the one done on the spot) shows positive. The sample will straight be sealed put in another plastic bag and seal again. This to avoid contamination of the sample. The sealed sample then sent to the lab for confirmation.

Its a standard process. It will take 2 to 4 weeks for us to get the confirmation as there is only 3 labs (baxk in 2010) approved by our customer standard to sent these sample to.

From result, we will confirm the lab positive or negative then submit the report back to our customer for their next courae of action. Usually those men caught will go through DI process and 99.9% of time will be dismissed from job.

There are.cases that during ujian saringan detect positive but when came out from lab is negative. This sample usually comes from person who dont really do drugs but they took ubat kuat pill that usually have trace of those drugs. Most of these cases will be dismissed coz lab says negative.
