But nowadays many people study english since kindergarten till college/university level still english very de lousy.
Even those Malaysia youngster who went America/Australia/English-first country for tertiary education come back english still lousy.

Limited use of vocabulary and full of grammar mistakes / mixed language.

You dont need good vocab or perfect grammar for most jobs, even for positions in MNC.
Its good to have but not compulsory.

As long as you can convey your message and able to communicate effectively in the meeting, workshop, on-site and etc, there isnt much emphasize to use perfect english.
The problem starts when you cannot speak and write decently that people not able to understand you or worst misinterpreted your message.

Most people do not speak english on a daily basis. They more likely have their thought process in their own mother tongue which then translated into english.
This is why now most youngsters or even adults not able to speak well in English.

People said the best way to master English is to speak on daily basis. The problem here is we teach English similar to teaching Math and Physics: only teachers who speak and students only listen. For sure students would never able to speak decently.

Read and write maybe, but not speak.
